MISSOURI LOVES COMPANY
For 2026, the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is brewing “Tried & True,” a series of four time-tested beer styles for this year’s Missouri Loves Company® collaboration project. Brewers from across the Show-Me State come together quarterly to brew a beer together, with host breweries selecting the style and participants collaborating via video conference to dial in the recipe.
We kick off the series with a slight twist on a classic Hefeweizen, brewed by the experts at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company in St. Louis.
Light, bready wheat malt provides a soft backbone, balanced by signature yeast notes of banana and clove in this 5.6% ABV Bavarian-style ale. Low bitterness lets the yeast and malt character shine, finishing crisp, refreshing, and slightly dry with a gentle wheat tang. Balanced, aromatic, and easy-drinking, it’s perfectly suited for warm weather and the start of spring patio season.
Like every beer in the Missouri Loves Company® series, this collaboration was crafted with plenty of camaraderie and a shared passion for great beer.
Look for the Hefeweizen in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans at participating breweries starting Wednesday, March 25. And as always—get it while you can. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
The Missouri Loves Company® collaboration series truly reflects the spirit of our state’s craft beer community. Through thick and thin, Missouri brewers have always helped one another—sharing ideas, solving problems, and working together to make great beer even better. That camaraderie remains Missouri Strong today, strengthening the bonds within our close-knit industry.
This collaboration brings together 35 member breweries and the support of 10 corporate sponsors. Proceeds from the project directly benefit the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild and support our work to advocate for the craft beer industry at the state and federal level while promoting independent craft brewers across the Show-Me State.
By buying this beer, you’re supporting that mission.
Join us in raising a glass to this exceptional brew—and to the collaboration and craftsmanship that define the Missouri Loves Company® series.
