MISSOURI LOVES COMPANY

For 2026, the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is brewing “Tried N’ True,” a series of four time-tested beer styles for this year’s Missouri Loves Company® collaboration project. Brewers from across the Show-Me State come together quarterly to brew a beer together, with host breweries selecting the style and participants collaborating via video conference to dial in the recipe.

The Tried N’ True Series continues with a classic English-style Extra Special Bitter brewed by the team at Springfield Brewing Company.

This classic English-style ale strikes a delicious balance between rich malt character and gentle hop bitterness. Expect notes of toasted bread, light caramel and a touch of biscuit up front, followed by subtle earthy and floral hop notes. Medium-bodied with a smooth, clean finish, this 5.5% ABV ESB is flavorful without being heavy — an easy-drinking pint that proves tried-and-true styles never go out of fashion.

Brewed with love and rooted in collaboration, the Missouri Loves Company® series celebrates the friendships, partnerships, and shared passion that unite Missouri’s independent craft brewing community. From brewhouse to pint glass, this beer is a reminder that great things happen when breweries come together to create something Tried N’ True.

Look for the Extra Special Bitter in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans at participating breweries starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026. And as always—get it while you can. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

The Missouri Loves Company® collaboration series truly reflects the spirit of our state’s craft beer community. Through thick and thin, Missouri brewers have always helped one another—sharing ideas, solving problems, and working together to make great beer even better. That camaraderie remains Missouri Strong today, strengthening the bonds within our close-knit industry.

This collaboration brings together 35 member breweries and the support of 8 corporate sponsors. Proceeds from the project directly benefit the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild and support our work to advocate for the craft beer industry at the state and federal level while promoting independent craft brewers across the Show-Me State.

By buying this beer, you’re supporting that mission.

Join us in raising a glass to this exceptional brew—and to the collaboration and craftsmanship that define the Missouri Loves Company® series.
